Carrie Bond serves as a Regional Representative for Zone N1. She is passionate about teaching women truth from God's word with authenticity and encouraging women to apply it in everyday life. She embraces the roles God has given her: wife, serving alongside her husband who is the senior pastor of Greenwood Baptist Church in Weatherford; mom and homeschool teacher to three children; and women's ministry leader at her church. Carrie also works with Surrendering the Secret, a post-abortive ministry, and enjoys speaking at women's events, equipping others in women's ministry and sharing a great cup of coffee. Marcia Dean is serving as the SBTC Representative for Zone S2.Marcia previously served as the Women’s Ministry Coordinator for First Baptist Church, New Braunfels. Marcia’s passion is for Bible study and teaching women inductive Bible study. Her joy is watching the word of God change lives. Jennifer Garcia is an SBTC Women's Ministry Representative in Zone N3. She is a pastor's wife and mother of three grown children. She has been serving alongside her husband for 14 years. Prior to that, they worked in evangelism and house church ministries. Her hobbies include reading and baking. She has a passion for encouraging women in ministry, especially pastors' wives. Leah Holder serves as the Young Adult Liaison in the women’s ministry at Fallbrook Church. She desires to help women glorify God in all the different seasons of their lives. Leah is also the founder of Going Higher Ministries, the author of “No Trespassing: I’m God’s Property,” and a student at the University of Texas School of Law. Carolyn May is a wife of 38 years and has served with her husband, Gary, in full-time ministry for over 25 of those years. Gary is the senior pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Longview and together they have two married sons, beautiful daughter-in-loves, and two grand-prize grandchildren, Magnolia and Miles. Carolyn serves on the women's ministry team in her local church, leads women's Bible studies in the church setting, and embraces the role as her husband's most dedicated encourager/cheerleader. Lori Moody is a wife of 35 years, the mother of three grown children, a grandmother, homemaker, and women’s leader. Lori is passionate about Biblical womanhood and speaks to women’s groups in the context of conferences, retreats, and banquets. Recently, her writing was included in a portion of the book, Join the Insanity: Crazy-Fun Life in the Pastors' WivesClub by Rhonda Rhea. Peggy Osborne has worked in the education field for over 25 years. In recent years she has worked with her daughter, Lauren, and her daughter-in-law, Courtney, in cofounding You Are My Treasure, a faith-based consulting ministry where they lead workshops for Christian parents, Christian educators and women (www.youaremytreasure.com). Peggy also enjoys speaking for MOPS groups, women's events and women's retreats. She is married to Chris, Senior Pastor at Central Baptist in College Station. Kristen Svajda (pronounded Sweeda) is wife to Anthony and mom to Gideon and Grace. She has been loving Jesus since she was 7 years old. Kristen grew up in Fort Worth and currently lives in Stephenville - where her husband is the pastor at Harvey Baptist Church. Kristen is a leader in the women's ministry and also leads Bible studies at Harvey BC. She is also committed to making disciples of new and growing Christian women. Kristen loves to read and study God's word, to enjoy meals with family and friends, and desires to help other women love Jesus more! She represents the SBTC Women's Ministry in Zone E1. Laura Taylor has a Master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been involved in Women's Ministry for the last 22 years as a speaker, conference leader, retreat planner and director. She actively teaches God's word to women and young couples at First Baptist Church in Alvarado where her husband Wade pastors. Laura teaches Bible at Christian Women's Job Corp and is on the Women's Ministry Team in her association. She has also received training as a chaplain with the SBTC Disaster Relief Team. Nancy Turner is a seasoned pastor’s wife (35 years), mother of three adult married children and grandmother of eight. She is a conference speaker, teaches an adult women’s Sunday school class and serves as an adviser for several ministries within her church. Nancy's desire is to inspire women to draw nearer to God by speaking and teaching his word with clarity. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Anita Onarecker Wood is the Regional Representative for Zone S4-north and S5, serving with the SBTC team since 2004. She shares from a God-given passion and the overflow of his activity in her life. She graduated with her master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007, along with certification in women's ministry.
