Church Security Banner

The SBTC will pay to have a Security Specialist come visit your church, review access points and security measures that you presently have in place and then recommend procedures that you might want to consider in the future in keeping your Church, Worship and Ministries safe and secure.

We will help cover the cost to train your staff, lay security team and church to prevent a tragedy.

Through Business Conferences and Seminars, the SBTC brings experts in the fields of insurance, tax, and law to your area for training and dialog. Churches need to handle God's money in a safe way beyond reproach. Recognizing the potential pitfalls and staying up to date on the latest changes in laws and key issues is imperative in helping a church stay focused on ministry. These Tax Seminars are meant to inform and educate church leaders and administrators about church and pastoral tax laws as well as any new or revised tax law and procedures for the upcoming year.

Each year we schedule a series of Tax Seminars across Texas throughout the month of January, to help churches do this. The seminar fee includes lunch. New dates & locations for following year are published on November, stay tuned.

Note:
The retreat is for associate staff ministers and spouses (i.e. Ministers of Education, Music, Youth, Children). If your church does not use those exact titles, then this retreat is for the designated leaders in your church who are recognized by the church body as the one, primary individual (volunteer or paid) who provides leadership oversight for a similar key area of church wide ministry, who plans all of the activities for that area of ministry and coordinates the leadership teams.

We look forward to see you
