We've heard your feedback and our 2017 retreat will feature sessions on social media, marketing your church, conflict resolution and handling pressure in a demanding culture in a Christ-like manner. We hope to inspire you, refresh you and most of all equip you with extra tools in your skills' set to thrive in your field. Christian School Ministry
The SBTC supports and encourages Christian schooling and homeschool families by partnering with the Southern Baptists Association of Christian Schools.
- Help pastors and congregations start new Christian schools.
- Strengthen and support existing Christian schools by providing information, training, consulting,
- Promote Kingdom Education and Christian schooling as a powerful emerging model for reaching
and discipling lost children and families and equipping them for service in the Body of Christ.
- Advance a Biblical worldview and understanding of education.
- Assist Christian colleges and universities in finding and recruiting Christian school and homeschool students.

Safeguarding Church Ministry Conference is focused on sexual abuse awareness and prevention in the church. This conference is in conjunction with MinistrySafe who provides state-approved Sexual Abuse Awareness Training, Skillful Screening Training, sample policies and procedures, application forms, reference check forms, interview forms and other instructional documents. Each conference will be 10:00 am-3:00 pm with lunch provided. The cost is $10.

Finance and Budget Training
The SBTC will provide a specialist to come to your church to review your practices, and train your assistant in the best practices method of handling offerings, requesting funds, accounting and handling payables.
Church policy includes Constitution Development, By-Law Development, and Robert's Rules of Order. If you are interested in a consultation with one of our policy specialists, please complete a Request Form so that we may know your exact needs and can put you in contact with the correct consultant.

The SBTC will pay to have a Security Specialist come visit your church, review access points and security measures that you presently have in place and then recommend procedures that you might want to consider in the future in keeping your Church, Worship and Ministries safe and secure.
We will help cover the cost to train your staff, lay security team and church to prevent a tragedy.
