Southern Baptists of Texas Disaster Relief volunteers are responding to the needs created by Hurricane Isaac in Louisiana. We are responding to Zoar Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA with feeding, cleanup and recovery, child care, communications, operations/assessments, shower/laundry, and water purification.
How can you and your church assist?
- Pray for those whose lives have been affected by Hurricane Isaac
- Pray for the volunteers who are responding to share the HOPE of our Lord Jesus as they minister to the physical needs of the people
- Pray that a harvest of the gospel will be reaped as the seeds of the gospel are sown
- Get trained in SBTC Disaster Relief, so you will be prepared to respond and provide ministry during disasters.
- You may also, give as you are led to the Southern Baptists of Texas Disaster Relief Ministry. SBTC disaster relief volunteers serve to share the hope of Jesus wherever disasters may occur. Your generosity will enable SBTC DR volunteers to share the HOPE of our Lord Jesus in Texas, across the United States and around the world.
