I Will Pray is a simple Scripture-driven approach to helping people to pray in five basic areas:

  • My Home,
  • My Pastor,
  • My Church,
  • Lost People, and
  • My Nation.

You may choose to use only one area per day to help you focus your prayer time. This would faciliate consistent and systematic prayer each week in these areas.

Pastors may choose to have a prayer emphasis by using similar approach each week. Focus the Sunday morning prayer time on one of the segments each week for five weeks. Encourage the people to either pray daily the following week for that particular area. This can be a pastor-led five week emphasis in your church.

Day of Prayer & Fasting

The Day of Prayer & Fasting for the SBTC Bible Conference and Annual Meeting is set for Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 with an emphasis on spiritual awakening. We invite you to join us in this prayer effort that all events leading up to the meeting, and the meeting itself, will be God-honoring. The theme of this year's Bible Conference is "Rend the Heavens" and that is our prayer: "Oh Lord that you would rend the heavens and come down" (Isaiah 64:1-4). Join us for our Annual Meeting as we "Seek the Lord" "...while He may be found" (Isaiah 55:6-7, 12-13).

The 2014 Bible Conference and Annual Meeting will take place November 9-11, 2014 at The MacGorman Chapel of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. For more information, visit www.sbtexas.com/am14.
