Welcome to the SBTC church planting application process!

Thank you for your interest in planting in partnership with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. The desire of SBTC churches is to deploy planters who are as well prepared as possible. To that end, every potential planter interested in planting with the SBTC must complete an application process.

Nonfunded Church Planter Partnerships

There is a plethora of support available to planters who do not need funding but wish to affiliate with the SBTC. For those who qualify as planters, our Church Planting Team is available to help you find training, coaching and a network of planters in Texas that you can plug into. Also, the SBTC missions team can help you find possible contacts for sending and receiving mission teams. Outside of that, the SBTC supports 99+ other ministries that your church might have or need.

Church Planters NOT interested in funding may apply to join our network of church planters by completing our Church Planter Partnership Information Form.
