Although there are a few stops along the way, by posting the whole process on line, the planter is able to proceed at his own pace through it. Phase 1 - Interest (Fase Uno)

Return the completed form to the SBTC (Mande la Forma Completada a la SBTC) via mail to attention: Church Planting or via email to churchplanting@sbtexas.com as soon as possible.

2. Please take the Church Planter Assessment from ELI at http://namb.churchplanterprofiles.com/cake/. Please take the Free Initial Screening Exam. This is a free assessment. Click on the yellow "Create a new account" button.
This profile is made up of several in depth behavioral and innate personality instruments.

Once complete, please download the report pdf and send it to us an email attachment to churchplanting@sbtexas.com

At the end of the assessment you will be offered the opportunity to take several other assessments. These are totally optional. They are decent assessments but you will have to pay for them.

If you have not yet had a formal assessment, the SBTC staff will provide you with an alternative assessment during Phase Three that is free to you. If you have already undergone a formal assessment through another agency, the SBTC church planting team will usually accept this. All we will need is a copy of your assessment summary report. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.

Once the Pre-application and Pre-Assessment is recieved, a church planting staff member will contact you shortly with information on continuing the application process.
