Mission Service Corps
Mission Service Corps in the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention exists to link self-funded missionaries and mission opportunities to help fulfill the Great Commission in Texas and to assist the North American Mission Board and its mission partners in accomplishing the purposes of evangelization, church planting, and ministry.
These people are called by God, are self-supporting, or can raise their own support, or work to support themselves. They serve from 4 months to 2 years or longer in SBTC and NAMB validated MSC positions wherever and whenever these positions may exist.
Requirements for service are to: Be called by God to service; at least 18 years of age; be a member of a Southern Baptist Church; approved by their home church; satisfactorily complete a reference and background check; and have the ability to be self supporting.
MSC Training Events - During NAMB Support Development School you will spend approximately 26 hours learning principles that will enable you to raise your personal and/or ministry support for a lifetime of service through MSC Funding. The training is a mixture of lectures with hands-on practice and workshops.
