The SBTC seeks to offer support to women working in all areas of ministry. We do this by providing conferences, leadership training, creative ideas and expertise in the area of women’s ministry. We also provide a regional representative in your area to assist with women’s ministry.

Laura Taylor serves as the Women’s Ministry Associate for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. Laura graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. For the last 25 years, she has been involved in women’s ministry as coordinator, retreat planner and speaker. She teaches for the Cleburne Christian Women Job Corp and teaches God’s word to women at First Baptist Church Alvarado where her husband is pastor. Laura is a trained chaplain for SBTC Disaster Relief and enjoys ministry on deployments but her passion is to “love on” and disciple women to follow Jesus. Laura and her husband have two daughters.
