about the Foundation

Serving the Church

The Southern Baptists of Texas Foundation was formed in 2005 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. The Foundation has succeeded in creating a self-funding operational ministry model which consumes no cooperative program resources and reinvests its earnings in kingdom causes. Their mission is to serve the church through planned giving, estate planning, cash management, church lending, investments, stewardship assessments, and financial consulting services.

The SBT Foundation provides assistance in obtaining estate planning documents for individuals who desire to distribute at least 10% of their estate to their church and/or other ministry.

Cash Management

The cash management services of the SBT Foundation offer above-market rates maximizing the return on your ministry’s designated funds and cash reserves.

Church Lending

The church lending services of the SBT Foundation offers competitive interest rates and creative terms to SBTC churches and other ministries.
