The Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC) is a confessional network of autonomous, like-minded churches that voluntarily cooperate to counter the growing rate of lostness in Texas and around the world.
In 1998, 120 churches founded the SBTC for missional cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and for theological agreement, affirming biblical inerrancy.
Today, over 2,800 churches are moving forward together. Southern Baptist Churches in Texas clearly desire missional cooperation and theological agreement.
