Thank you for your interest in furthering your training with SBTC Disaster Relief.

Our ministry seeks to meet real needs and share the hope of Jesus Christ with those impacted by disasters. These training modules will give you an orientation into Disaster Relief Ministry and help you to safely work in disasters such as, floods, fires and tornados.

The Intro to Disaster Relief course MUST be viewed by:

  • ALL new volunteers 

  • All volunteers seeking to renew their credentials

This online course consists of three sections with videos & quizzes to complete. Please use a browser other than Internet Explorer when viewing the course. Once the course has been completed, you will submit a Personal Information (PI) form along with a personal photo for your Disaster Relief badge. Please complete this course at least two weeks before deployment to allow time for processing and approvals.

Please allow approximately two weeks for your badge to ship.

Once you complete the Intro to DR course, continue your training in a specific ministry area.

Clean up & recovery volunteers help disaster survivors with mudding out or cleaning their homes after floods and debris cleanup after tornados and wind events.

Feeding ministry volunteers prepare meals for survivors, first responders and volunteers.
