More than fifty devotionals were contributed from across the country. We asked the writers to focus on one of five areas of need among Disaster Relief volunteers: team care, family needs, evangelism, disaster survivors, and leadership/ teamwork. We envision that individual volunteers as well as teams will work through the devotional guide while in the field. Readers will encounter each theme while going through the guide from beginning to end and may prefer to pick and choose based upon titles, verses, or writers. Frankly, many wrote on evangelism or evangelistic themes, and that is fitting. On occasion, we had to change the Scripture reference to avoid duplications, but we kept the content of each devotional substantially the same.
